Billy Synk
William "Billy Synk is the staff research associate at the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility, University of California, Davis. He divides his time between associate professors Brian Johnson, who specializes in honey bees, and Neal Williams, who specializes in native bees.
He joined the bee biology program in May of 2012. Synk received his bachelor of science degree in environmental policy and management in 2008 from Ohio State University (OSU), where he worked with noted bee breeder-geneticist Susan Cobey.
